The rescue of Galgos in Valladolid

This time we would like to explain to you some of the many works that Scooby does. Depending always on our capabilities, we rescue Galgos from other shelters on a frequent base. In this case it was the city council kennel from Valladolid. Consuelo, the vet who works there, called us desperately because they had too many dogs and they had to euthanize some of them, mainly Galgos. And she asked me if we could rescue them. And we, although it is a fact that we have too many animals, decided that we could not leave them with the idea that these dogs would be sacrificed so we brought them with us.

There are 8 adult dogs and three puppies that were also in death row. For this and many other reasons we need homes for adoptions. If we can’t see our dogs to leave our shelter again after the rescue, we won’t have the sufficient space to rescue dogs from related smaller shelters.
